New Puppies!

Just before Christmas our neighbor’s dog had puppies in our dog’s doghouse.  Turns out our dog, Sergey, is the dad!  We kept the puppies because the neighbor doesn’t want them and had they been born at his place, he would have “gotten rid” of them.   Two are up for adoption. They are so cute!  Woodstock, Linus, and Lucy.  We’re keeping Lucy!

New pictures added

I just added a bunch of pictures to our Family pictures page! They were take at Christmas and during the winter break.  Matt learned how to stand by himself and started eating blueberries. He even learned how to stick out of his tongue–I think this is pay back for all the children I taught “what a llama says!”

Enjoy!

Some Christmas Box Feedback

Nicoleta here told me in detail everything in her box, when I thought she had finished, I moved on to the next child. And at every pause Nicoleta would say something else that was in her box! She was so excited!

We have just finished our first week back at school after a three week break.  In every class the   children were quick to tell me what they received in their Christmas boxes.  I had children showing me the marker, crayons and other school supplies.  They told me about the coloring books, dolls, and cars they received.  The kids went into detail of what the received including even the soap and toothpaste!  They were so excited.  One child even asked if we will have a program with Christmas boxes next year.  I’m sure they will bring more of their classmates with them!

Parents expressed their thanks and said that the boxes were EVEN BETTER than last year. The children and their families are very grateful for the Christmas boxes!  Thank you to everyone made a Christmas box and provided joy and the Love of Jesus to the children and families in Romania.
