Daily Prayer Requests–December 2009
Please pray….
1: Today is Romanian National Day. Pray that the people of Romania will turn their lives to Jesus.
2: for the children in school, that they will continue to come to school each day and will understand their lessons.
3: that I will continue to have good classes and effectiveness teaching English to the Elementary school kids.
4: for the school staff as they continue to influence the hearts and minds of the children.
5: for Vasile, his birthday is tomorrow. He will be 3 years old. He has a difficult family life, pray that the Lord will change the hearts of his parents so that his family can live in peace.
6: for the children in Stroiesti, that they will be able to come to Sunday school today. Pray also for today’s run-off election for President.
7: for continued good relationships with fellow teachers at the school.
8: for the team of 4 that works with the children in Sunday School: Ana, Estera, Florin, and me. Pray for effectiveness and wisdom.
9: for the parents in the village that they will come to know Jesus as their Savior
10: for open doors in Stroiesti as I continue visiting individual families. Praise the Lord for those families that have allowed me to visit.
11: for Alina Gabriela as she continues to study English and Math in the Mentoring Program, that she will have hope and success.
12: for all of us here as the weather turns cold that our hearts will be warmed by the love of God.
13: : for the kids coming to Sunday school; some of the kids walk over 2 km to come to church and have to walk home in the dark as the days are getting shorter, pray for their safety.
14: for Andrei, in the Mentoring Program as he continues to work very hard to learn English, so he can continue his education.
15: for Silvia in the Mentoring Program, as she continues to show improvement in English that her brain will click and she will be able to understand more English.
16: for Stefan on his birthday. Pray that he continues to come to Sunday School.
17: for the children who suffer from abuse and neglect, that they will find hope in Jesus Christ
18: for all of us as we make preparations for the Christmas program. Pray that the children in the program will come and not be scared to perform in front of the village.
19: for Andreea on her birthday today. Pray that she will come back to Sunday School.
20: for our Christmas program today. The children have learned their lines and carols. Pray that many villagers will come and that their hearts will turn to God in this Christmas season. Pray for us as we pass out the Christmas boxes at the program.
21: for the kids as they learn their verses and the “Our Father” in English.
22: for me as I travel to Bucharest today by train. Please pray for safe travels.
23: for me as I fly back to the states for Christmas. I will be flying or in airports for over 24 hours. Please pray for safety and no lost luggage.
24: for safety for the children as they walk to and from school some over a mile.
25: for the families in Stroiesti as they gather together to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus.
26: for the fathers and mothers of the village, that they will be good role models and providers for their families
27: for the children who have dropped out of school, that they will be able to go back to school at some point.
28: for Anca in the Mentoring Program, she has so much promise and has such a drive to succeed.
29: for Elena, who is in the Mentoring Program, that she continues to come and do well in school. Pray that her relationship with her boyfriend will be respectful to God.
30: for effective ministry in MBK that will turn the hearts of the people of Stroiesti to God and that will ultimately glorify God!
31: for the families in the village as they celebrate the last day of this year. Pray that the coming year will bring more people to Jesus.
dear woman of faith, i cried when i went through your prayer requests….surely the LORD is already changing lives of MANY….may they all come the the fullness that is promised to them…amen…amen..amen
